Will deleting cookies delete passwords?


If you clear cookies then websites won’t remember you anymore and you need to login once again. You will still have the passwords in the Profile Manager if you have saved them. Websites remembering you and automatically log you in is stored in a cookie.

How do I clear cookies but keep passwords?

Click the ellipse (the three vertical dots) in the upper right hand area of the browser window and select Settings. Scroll down to “Clear on Exit” and click the “Add” button. The cookie(s) for the site you added will now be cleared when you exit the browser, but the passwords remain.

Will Clearing History delete passwords?
