Can I just swap hard drives between laptops?
You can swap hard drives between computers without any issues. If you aren’t swapping boot drives (the hard drive with Windows on it), then you can simply unplug the hard drive and plug it into the new computer. If you are swapping boot drives, then you should wipe the hard drive before swapping it.
