How do I know if spatial sound is working?
A bright blue icon indicates that spatial audio is enabled, but if the sound waves are static it’s not supported by the content you’re watching. If the waves are pulsing, spatial audio is enabled and working. You can tap the icon to turn it off and experience the difference it makes.
Is my Spatial Audio on?
Some Android devices also support Spatial Audio with Dolby Atmos through the Apple Music app.
Does Spatial Audio work with everything?
With Spatial Audio, Apple says that sounds can be placed “virtually anywhere” in the hemisphere. The technology works with 5.1 and 7.1 soundtracks, as well as Dolby Atmos object-based audio.
